REVIEW AND SWATCHES: BBIA Last lipstick

Was tempted to try BBIA products for a long period and i finally got myself their well known red tube 04 lipstick,2 lipsticks from green tube (series 2) and i also got myself their liquid eyeliner in shade burgundy (will review it in my future post, stay tune *wink*)

the shades of the lipsticks i got are:
#04 Intelligent

#06 Imotional

#07 Dreamlike

01-05 are the first series of BBIA last lipstick, and among 01-05, 04 and 05 are the most popular shades, the reason i chose no4 is because it is quite nude so it's perfectly suitable for daily makeup or even with no makeup can apply it also , i didn't get no5 because it is in burgundy and i have a similar shades also

here are the official pictures of series 1 (red tube) and 2 (green tube)

Here are the lipsticks I have!

From left to right 04,06,07

swatches on my hand-without concealer (top to bottom- 06,07,04)

Here are the swatches and how they look on my lips πŸ˜„

BBIA06 - Imotional

Apply on my inner lips
Dabbing it and spread it ( I love this color)!
Apply lipstick all over my lips
Apply a thin layer of shade 07 to create a gradient lips
After dabbing and spreading

BBIA 07-Dreamlike ( Green tube)

Apply on my inner lips
Dabbing it and spread it

Apply lipstick all over my lips

BBIA 04 ( Reb Tube) *my favorite!

Apply lipstick all over my lips

I already have 3 lipsticks from their series but I'm still tempted to get 08 and 09 from series 2, I read some review posts online saying that 09 is a substitute color (dupe) of MAC chili, so I think I will place order very soon hehe

What I think about these lipsticks,
1. Packaging.
Honestly this is one of the reasons why I get myself these lipsticks, the packaging looks simple and classic, it has metallic feel but yet it's plastic one
But do note that the color will have scratches on it if you put it in your bag, I knew it before I bought and I took a blogger advice so i didn't throw away the packaging box, so I will put it in the box before I put it in my bag

2. The lipstick itself.
They are matte lipsticks. But they are unlike those traditional matte lipsticks which are very dry and will make your lips chap, BBIA lipsticks are tend to a semi-matte one but yet have matte effect on your lips.
They are very smooth when you apply and if your lips are in good condition, you don't even need to apply lip balm before apply them.
Though it won't dry up your lips but the moisturizing of the lipsticks are so much better than other matte lipstick

3. Lasting power
It can last for 4-5 hours without eating (of course without licking your lips)

4. Removal
Can be easily removed by eyes and lips makeup remover

5. Others
I like to use them as blush! Easy to blend with foundation and spread over cheeks
Oh, official picture from BBIA warn that do not turn out too much of the product because the lipstick might break and there were few blogger said that they have the same experience.

Please be aware that there are a lot of fake BBIA lipsticks on the market, do buy from trusted seller or buy it directly from Korea websites.

Where you can get them.
1. qoo10 Malaysia- 2plus1
(Search BBIA in the search bar) they are priced at RM32.80

2.Korea depart-Red tube;green tube (USD8.19)

In conclusion:
Pros:
Affordable
Shades are pretty
Long lasting
Won't chap your lips

Cons:
Will have scratches if you put it in your bag
Turn out too much might break the lipstick

Rating: 4.5/5
I really love these lipsticks.
Do try it out if you are interested, they are definitely worth the price πŸ˜‰

Review: Missha Style Mascara 3D

Hi, it's has been a long time since I updated my last post

Today I am going to review one of my favorite mascara from Korean drug store MISSHA!
Missha 3D mascara! It cost me only USD2.03 when I bought. It has 4D version also but it is slightly more expensive than 3D, it's USD2.68 when I bought. Since they are very cheap so I decided to give it a try, and it doesn't disappoint me at all!

I have both 3D and 4D mascara but I will review only 3D today

It looks like this. I love its packaging

Missha Style Mascara 3D and 4D

brush of Missha Style 3D mascara

brush of Missha Style 4D mascara

Swatches of Missha 3D Style mascara

The reason that Iove this mascara because it is non waterproof and can be easily washed off by warm water, even though it is non waterproof but it won't smudge, without rubbing it, the mascara won't come off by washing with water

washing with handsoap and water by rubbing without using makeup remover =)

Some people might wonder what's the difference between 3D and 4D mascara
3D one is for curling effect
4D one is for volumize

I have to admit that the curling effect of 3D mascara is so so ( I rate 6 over 10)
But I still love it because it is very easy to use because it doesn't have fibre so my eyelashes won't become clumpsy after applying few layers of mascara, so when I'm in rush, I will definitely use this mascara😁
Besides that, since it won't make your eyelashes looks clumpsy, it is very good for lower lashes.
without masacara

For those who loves LINE friends characters, can get their Brown and Sally version of  them
(Sally -3D; Brown- 4D)
Missha Style Mascara 3D- LINE friends edition
Missha Style Mascara 4D- LINE friends edition

If you are interested, I think it's worth to give it a try, it's very cheap and won't cost you a lot of money and you might love them after you try it, I have to admit that it is not the best mascara I have ever used but it's one of my favorite mascara, the mascara overall is very good for its price already!

You can get them from Korea depart.

Conclusion:

Pros:

  • Cheap
  • Travel friendly
  • ❌clumpsy
  • Great for lower lashes
  • Can be easily removed by warm water ( but it might be a con for some people who preferred waterproof mascara, but for me it's a pros)
  • Won't smudge

Cons:

  • Curling effect is so so
  • Non-waterproof

REVIEW AND SWATCHES: ELF Mad for Matte palette

hi guys, today i am going to review ELF mad for matte palette!

I accidentally read the review about this palette online few months ago, and i was very amazed by this ALL MATTE PALETTE, i am not a glitter/shimmer shadow person, so i was thinking that i must get it because it has all the shades i want and it is ALL MATTE!

I was searching for it for weeks, and finally i got it! I paid RM60 for this, but if you can buy it directly on elf website it is just USD10!

The palette looks like this, very simple i like it!

Length of the palette is just 15cm, it's quite small, can put it into my pouch, perfect to carry it around and for travel

There is also a mirror comes with this palette
It didn't come with a brush, i like to apply eyeshadows with my fingers so it isn't a big problem for me, but i prefered to have a brush with it la haha

Here is the swatches of the palette
note: apply shadow with eye primer
the shades of the palette is perfect for daily use, the pigmentation of  two lightest colors aren't that good, even with eye primer.

MY OPINION
it is a bit chalky and powdery  if i don't use it with eye primer, but after using eye primer, it can reduce the chalkiness and also the pigmentation is better, i strongly recommend to use it with eye primer.

The thing i like about this palette is it's natural and great for daily use, and it's good for those who likes "no makeup" makeup, if you want the color to be obvious, just add few more swatches is enough

Conclusion

Pros:
Cheap
Travel Friendly
All matte
With mirror
Great for daily use

Cons:
Chalky
Pigmentation isn't that great and eye primer is needed
No brush

i will rate this palette as 7/10

First blog

Hi, here's Mandy

Just finish my last semester few days ago and i don't know what to do during this holiday, so i am thinking to create a new blog to share my experience and review for the cosmetics i currently own and i am here!

I started to apply makeup in year 1 of Uni life, before that i didn't know anything about makeup, i only know how to use cleanser, apply moisturizer and lotion HAHA,

What made me started to use makeup?
A good friend of mine gave me a mascara and a milky tint as birthday present, and i didn't want to waste it or give it to other so i tried to use it, honestly, the first time i applied mascara i had a big problem, i didn't know how to apply and it's so clumsy, it sticked everywhere xD and i had a problem to remove it also, so i asked my friend how should i do and also check google to see tutorial, okay i'm going to stop ranting about it

Now i know how to apply simple makeup, (applying mascara, draw eyebrow, draw eyeliner, contour, highlight) my makeup skill is not perfect, rather it's still uhh quite bad? but at least i have improved, i am proud of myself hehe

The main purpose of creating this blog is to review beauty products that i bought and maybe also sharing my life, i will try to update my blog every week!

not sure if anyone read this, but see you in my next post XOXO <3
